Tad Michael Wheeler possesses talents and interests in many different directions. As a musician, he is known primarily for his solo piano work, percussion, and electronic music. Tad is also an engineer, programmer, music producer, film producer, fine artist, graphic artist, and art collector.

The power and energy of Tad's music began with percussion. Then, after years of playing drums in a rock band, he began to search for alternative creative outlets. He navigated to playing piano along with recording, engineering, and producing. Shortly after the first MIDI specification was adopted in 1984, Tad took advantage of MIDI on an Apple computer and a Yamaha DX-7 synthesizer, which began a journey into electronic and soundtrack music. He has remained on the cutting edge of music and technology ever since.

Upon graduating from the Colorado School of Mines, Tad began work in the aerospace industry, which allowed him to continue his music pursuits and build his first studio. This resulted in the release of his first album "Silence In Motion" in 1989.

Over the last three decades, Tad has continued to compose, arrange, and produce under the umbrella of Tenderdyn Arts. During this time he also formed a partnership with Gymnopedie Films and expanded into the world of feature films, working alongside lifelong friend writer/director Vohn Regensburger.

Today, Tad is the owner and president of Tenderdyn Arts, located in Castle Rock, Colorado. Tad continues to compose and record his own original music as well as working with other artists to record and produce their music.
